The concert will feature performances from choirs, local Welsh musicians, special guests, talks, Welsh Authors, local Welsh food and drink.

Dunvant Male Voice Choir – as well as celebrating the legacy of Daniel James and Calon Lan, the choir will be celebrating 125 as a choir. Expect a special and passionate performance! – www.dunvantchoir.wales

Welsh Authors – Supporting the event will be:
- Kate Hamer – Kate won the Rhys Davies short story prize in 2011 and the story was broadcast on BBC Radio 4, she also has short stories published in anthologies such as ‘A Fiction Map of Wales’ and ‘New Welsh Short Stories’. She’s written articles and reviews for ‘The Independent’, ‘The Sunday Mail’ and ‘The New York Times – www.katehamer.co.uk

- Rhodri Wyn Owen (1962, E) has worked in journalism, PR and online production for the BBC – www.welshwriters.co.uk/rhodri-wyn-owen/
- Rebecca F. John – Rebecca was born in 1986, and grew up in Pwll, a small village on the South Wales coast. Her short stories have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4. In 2014, she was highly commended in the Manchester Fiction Prize. In 2015, her short story ‘The Glove Maker’s Numbers’ was shortlisted for the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award. Throughout the event
Guided tours / talks – see the resting place of Daniel James, experience a guided talk and tour of Mynyddbach Chapel, where he learnt to compose poetry. Learn about the work of the Calon Lan Centre who are dedicated to celebrating the legacy of Calon Lan, Daniel James, and his works.
There will also be an exhibition of memorabilia relating to Daniel James.
